You will verify demographics and insurance data, address billing questions, collect payments, and maintain the electronic medical record system. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Excellent visual, verbal, written, and typed communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Respect physician and nurse requests in a timely manner.
• Describe Patient First's billing policies, including insurable and non-insurable charges.
• Register patients accurately with excellent customer service and compassion.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements as requested.
• Handle cash and issue receipts for visits and supplies.
• Answer calls and distribute messages promptly.
• Maintain the electronic medical record system and assist with other duties as directed.
