Patient First in Columbia, MD is seeking a compassionate front desk associate to assist patients at the kiosk, escort those needing emergency care to the treatment area, and register and evaluate patients efficiently. You will verify demographics, health, pharmacy and insurance information, handle billing questions, collect payments, and provide itemized statements.

Strong communication and typing skills, high school diploma, and at least one year of clerical experience are preferred.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older and able to perform clerical duties.
• Basic typing and accurate data entry skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Registering patients accurately and expeditiously with good service.
• Verifying patient demographics, health, pharmacy and insurance information.
• Answering billing questions and providing itemized statements as requested.
• Collecting payments and issuing receipts for visits and services.
• Operating, using, and maintaining the EMR system; supporting center operations.
