Patient First in Capitol Heights, MD is hiring a Patient Service Representative to greet and assist patients, register them accurately, and coordinate billing queries. The role emphasizes compassionate customer service, data accuracy, and efficient front-desk operations in a busy health care setting.

The position requires basic clerical experience, good typing and communication skills, and the ability to multitask while assisting patients through the kiosk and front-office tasks.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willing to work at any center due to a staffing issue.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Communicate billing policies to patients as needed.
• Register patients accurately with excellent customer service.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Handle cash management and provide receipts.
• Discharge patients and process incurred charges.
• Answer incoming calls and distribute messages promptly.
• Maintain front office area and stocking supplies.
• Attend staff meetings and support center operations.
