Responsibilities

• Oversees patient financial process to ensure patient payments are obtained at time of service and properly processed.
• Verifies information: demographics, referrals, authorizations, billing codes, diagnoses.
• Completes end of day batch and reconciles schedule and payments.
• Provides clerical support and orients new employees to department policies.
• Maintains quality, safety, environment and infection control as per policies.
• Protects patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Travel to satellite offices may be required.
• Performs other related duties as required.
