Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Front Desk Registration Specialist to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule appointments across multiple South Charlotte/SC locations.

This role requires a High School diploma, computer experience, and strong customer service. You will handle co-pays, collect payments, and support referral and authorization processes within a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred, Front desk practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients.
• Verify insurance and demographics.
• Check patients in and out; schedule appointments.
• Collect co-pays and patient payments.
• Answer phones and basic billing questions.
• Monitor and resolve registration errors.
• Complete referrals and authorizations as needed.
• Assist with some financial counseling duties as needed.
• Complete charge entry in a timely manner.
