Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC seeks a Patient Service Representative II to deliver high-level patient service in a medical office, coordinating intake to checkout and supporting non-clinical tasks. 2-3 years of customer service experience required, preferably in medical office.
Experience with CPT/ ICD-10 coding preferred.

Responsibilities

Acts as a resource to patient services staff, providing guidance on complex issues/concerns.
Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
Registers new patients and updates demographics, collecting detailed information including co-pays and insurance cards.
Collects outstanding patient balances and assists with billing processes.
Obtains referrals and authorizations when required.
Scans and files medical records, maintains PHI confidentiality.
Schedules follow-up services, office visits, and procedures as needed.
Responds to inquiries in a courteous manner.
