Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in a medical office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone and disburses calls in a friendly, prompt manner.
• Schedules, cancels, reschedules and confirms patient visits.
• Retrieves and disburses messages from answering service and Fax.
• Collects deductible/co-insurance and balances with daily reports.
• Maintains cash drawer balance and documents transactions accurately.
• Enters charges and payments according to policies.
• Responds to medical record requests and HIPAA-compliant questions.
