Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Fairfax, VA seeks a Clinic Operations Rep to provide patient services and administrative support in busy outpatient clinics. Reports to the Clinic Operations Supervisor or Clinic Operations/Practice Manager.

You will collect demographic info, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and help with billing and office tasks to keep clinics running smoothly. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year in billing/registration, and strong computer and data-entry

Qualifications

• Broad clinic knowledge and customer service skills.
• Computer literacy; Microsoft Office experience preferred (Word & Excel).
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services and administrative support in clinic operations.
• Interact with parents, patients, physicians and staff in a courteous manner.
• May float to other clinics for coverage and assist in department as needed.
