Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in billing, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and screening.
• Broad clinic knowledge with strong customer service and basic computer skills; MS Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients accurately using the department system.
• Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Assist with insurance referrals, pre-authorizations, and payments.
• Collect co-pays and receipts; support cash controls and collections.
• Coordinate patient flow and appointments across clinics as needed.
• Respond to patient portal requests, faxes, and emails promptly.
• Maintain neat reception area and up-to-date office records.
