Job summary

Vanderbilt Weight Loss Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support patient flow before, during, and after appointments. The role ensures registration, scheduling, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary clinic.

The position is based in Mt. Juliet, TN and collaborates with clinicians and external facilities to prepare orders, view pre-visit documentation, and guide patients through portal interactions.

Qualifications

• Provides service to patient before, during or post-appointment with minimal guidance.
• Schedules appointments and procedures through clinical communication and patient portal messages.
• Registers patients and manages patient work queues; coordinates with outside facilities.
• Understands medical terminology and documents accordingly.
