Pnsoc in Irvine, CA is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide top‑tier customer service, schedule appointments, and route calls. You will work as part of a fast‑paced care team, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with medical staff to support patient care.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish, have a High School Diploma, and prior scheduling/medical facility experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency with computers and phone systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma required; college education preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, phone operations, and medical facility work.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments with the appropriate provider and time/location slot.
• Routes calls to the appropriate extension and takes messages as needed.
• Uses electronic systems to obtain patient information effectively.
• Collects information for electronic records and performs scheduling tasks.
• Maintains accurate, legally sound patient records.
• Interfaces with medical staff to support patient care services.
• Enters notes for scheduling in the medical record system.
• Documents informed consent for visits when required.
• Verifies insurance and communicates prior authorization needs as needed.
• Performs all patient care activities in a safety-focused setting.
• Assists other department members as needed.
