Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking a Practice Patient Services Representative to welcome and guide patients through the appointment check-in process, schedule and confirm appointments, and collect necessary information for efficient visits.

You will interact with providers, staff and billing personnel, delivering exceptional customer service. Strong computer skills and bilingual abilities are a plus; a High School diploma is required, with EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
• Preferred: Experience in a medical practice, clinic or office setting.
• Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systems (scheduling/billing).

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and direct patients and their families through the appointment check-in process.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations and ensure thorough information is obtained.
• Interact with providers, practice staff and billing representatives; maintain superior customer service.
