Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with PC experience.
• Experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance and patient billing.

Responsibilities

• Books and schedules patient appointments and updates demographics.
• Greets patients and verifies insurance eligibility.
• Collects payments and posts amounts; balances drawer.
• Prints receipts and follow-up on appointment reminders and reschedules.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs other clerical duties as needed.
