Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a Branch Office Specialist to join the Customer Service Team. You'll assist walk-in patients, manage equipment questions, and coordinate with insurance providers.

The role requires professional communication, strong computer skills, and the ability to de-escalate issues as they arise. You will be responsible for check-ins, scheduling, and assisting clinicians as needed, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare customer service is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage patient inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in patients with check-in for appointments and questions.
• Handle re-supplies and equipment inquiries.
• Understand insurance coverage criteria to dispense accurate information.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and maintain patient relationships.
• Route and reconcile undetermined tickets and coordinate daily tasks.
