Job summary

Performance Home Medical, a leader in patient-focused healthcare products and services since 1995, seeks a Branch Office Specialist (Front Desk) to join our Customer Service Team. This full-time role requires responsibility, reliability, and excellent people skills to service patients, referral sources, and insurers across a 50-mile radius between nearby offices.

Previous healthcare customer service experience is a plus, and training is provided for those new to medical equipment.

Qualifications

Candidate should be dependable, responsible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in healthcare customer service is a plus but not required.
Background in medical equipment is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with front desk duties at multiple office locations within a 50-mile radius.
Answer phone and internet inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Explain insurance coverage information to patients and referral sources.
Support walk-in patients with check-in, re-supply needs, and equipment questions.
Perform daily scanning, ticket routing, and task reconciliation as needed.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
On-the-job training will be provided.
