Job summary

Hopeclnc is seeking a patient services representative to support front desk operations in a healthcare setting. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and guide callers while maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

You will verify insurance, collect co-pays, enter data into EMR, and support billing processes to ensure smooth patient experiences and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to manage a fast paced environment without sacrificing efficiency and accuracy.
• Must follow HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clinic to patients courteously and professionally.
• Greet, assist and direct patients appropriately.
• Assist patients in scheduling with providers and in Call Center activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance data accurately.
• Coordinate information for billing and maximize reimbursement.
• Verify insurance coverage prior to services and collect co-pays.
• Provide information on account status and process payments.
