Signature Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Ohio to ensure smooth patient registration, accurate insurance data, and excellent patient experiences. You will handle calls, greetings, scheduling, and daily administrative tasks within the EHR system.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork in a behavioral health setting with standard business hours and potential evening support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year office, customer service, or related experience.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Experience in a primary care, behavioral health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid preferred.
• Experience with an EHR system required; EPIC experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient registration, verify insurance, and ensure accurate data in the EHR.
• Answer phone calls, greet patients and families, and check in patients for appointments.
• Assist patients with scheduling and manage provider/clinic schedules.
• Collect copayments and communicate financial responsibilities; refer to financial assistance as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; provide general administrative support.
• Perform scanning, faxing, and mailing; support office operations.
