Job summary

ADVENT is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant in Oak Creek with occasional coverage in Pleasant Prairie. You will greet patients, manage check-in in the EHR, schedule appointments, take vitals, and support clinic operations across Oak Creek and nearby locations.

The role requires patient-first service, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• MA experience preferred, CMA/RMA/CCMA or 2+ years in role.
• Insurance experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with MS Office and EHR.
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver license.
• Able to work at Oak Creek and Pleasant Prairie clinics.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in with EHR per protocols.
• Ensure documentation is complete and payments processed.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendar.
• Greet, room, and take vitals of patients.
• Keep appointments running on time; relay info to clinicians.
• Sanitize exam rooms and equipment after use.
• Rotate stock in the medical closet and dispose of expired meds.

Now Hiring: Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant - Part-Time

Locations:

Oak Creek - with occasional coverage in Pleasant Prairie

As a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

How you will make an impact as a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant:

• Greet patients and accurately check patients into EHR using established patient registration check-in protocols
• Responsible for ensuring documentation is appropriately completed, patient payment is received per insurance and work with clinic team members to maintain daily schedule
• Schedule patient appointments
• Greet, room, and take vitals of patients
• Ensure clinic patient appointments run in a timely manner, communicating with Physicians and APPs necessary information before they see patients
• Sanitize exam rooms after each patient
• Sanitize equipment used in clinics including instruments, scopes, and specialty procedure equipment
• Rotate/stock pharmaceutical closet; dispose of expired medication
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and non-sample pharmaceuticals
• Assist with additional clinic responsibilities as required

What You Bring

• Medical Assistant experience preferred, such as CMA (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or a minimum of two years of working experience.
• Experience working with insurance preferred
• Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records
• A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Experience working with performance-based goals or metrics
• Valid driver license
• Ability to work at and train at our Oak Creek and Pleasant Prairie clinics as needed
