Job summary

Advent in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Patient Services Representative to welcome patients and manage their first impression and journey through the clinic. You will check in patients, coordinate sleep study devices, and verify insurance details using our EHR system.

Join a full-time 32-hour flex role with consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday. You’ll work at our Maple Grove location with occasional support at Blaine, contributing to a patient-first experience and accurate administrative

Qualifications

• Experience handling patient interactions and scheduling is required.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and billing is preferred.
• Proven ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in using the EHR system.
• Coordinate and order sleep study devices as needed.
• Review schedules to confirm insurance and patient documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow for a smooth clinic experience.
• Answer incoming calls and provide overflow support to the call center.
• Open and close the clinic following established protocols.

• Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed.

Now Hiring: Patient Services Representative

Location: Maple Grove, MN (with assistance at our Blaine clinic when needed)

As a Patient Services Representative you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

What You’ll Do as a PSR:

• Greet patients warmly and check them in using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Coordinate and order sleep study devices
• Review upcoming schedules to confirm insurance and patient documentation are complete
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow for a smooth clinic experience
• Answer incoming calls and provide overflow support to the call center as needed
• Open and close the clinic following established protocols
• Ensure proper documentation, process payments, and support daily clinic operations
• Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed

What You Bring:

• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Experience working with performance-based goals or metrics
• Experience with insurance
• A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records

• Ability to train at our Woodbury and Blaine clinics
• Valid driver license
