ADVENT in Oak Creek is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant to welcome patients, register them in the EHR, and support care teams from arrival through visits. You will schedule appointments, take vitals, maintain clinic flow, and help with room sanitation, insurance tasks, and supplies.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant experience preferred, CMA/RMA/CCMA or 2+ years of work experience.
Experience with insurance processes is a plus.
Tech-savvy with MS Office and EHR systems.
Customer-first mindset with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and check them into the EHR per protocol.
Schedule patient appointments and maintain daily clinic flow.
Greet, room, and take vitals of patients.
Ensure timely communication of information to physicians and APPs.
Sanitize exam rooms and equipment after use; manage clinic inventory.
Assist with additional clinic responsibilities as needed.

Now Hiring: Patient Services Representative / Medical Assistant - Part-Time

Locations: Oak Creek - with occasional coverage in Pleasant Prairie

As a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

How you will make an impact as a Patient Services Representative/Medical Assistant:

Greet patients and accurately check patients into EHR using established patient registration check-in protocols
Responsible for ensuring documentation is appropriately completed, patient payment is received per insurance and work with clinic team members to maintain daily schedule
Schedule patient appointments
Greet, room, and take vitals of patients
Ensure clinic patient appointments run in a timely manner, communicating with Physicians and APPs necessary information before they see patients
Sanitize exam rooms after each patient
Sanitize equipment used in clinics including instruments, scopes, and specialty procedure equipment
Rotate/stock pharmaceutical closet; dispose of expired medication
Maintain inventory of medical supplies and non-sample pharmaceuticals
Assist with additional clinic responsibilities as required

What You Bring:

Medical Assistant experience preferred, such as CMA (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or a minimum of two years of working experience.
Experience working with insurance preferred
Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records
