Piedmont Urgent Care in Decatur and Midtown is hiring a Patient Service Representative (Medical Receptionist). You will be the first contact, managing front-office tasks and supporting clinic workflow with a focus on patient experience.

We value strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Full-time schedule includes 3-day/12-hour shifts with no overnights, plus generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting as a Medical Receptionist.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: maintain confidentiality while organizing documents.
• Insurance Verification: verify eligibility and provide payment policies and billing information.
• Financial Responsibility: determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Collaborative Support: assist the practice manager, providers, and staff as needed.
• Compliance: uphold HIPAA/OSHA and keep documentation compliant.
• Travel Requirement: travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
