You will be the first point of contact, greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and support front-office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. This full-time role offers a 3-day/12-hour shift schedule, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Team player with proactive, patient-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: maintain confidentiality and organize documents.
• Insurance Verification: analyze benefits and verify eligibility; explain policies.
• Financial Responsibility: collect and communicate patient costs clearly.
• Collaborative Support: assist practice manager and staff for smooth operations.
• Compliance: adhere to HIPAA and OSHA; handle documentation per guidelines.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
