Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact in our Shiloh/Belleville outpatient offices. This full-time role handles patient check-ins, appointment scheduling and basic billing tasks in a busy, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of front desk experience, strong communication skills and accuracy with data entry. Day shift, no call, no weekends, benefits eligible, and a stable team to grow with.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years front desk experience preferred.
• Preferred Medical Office Experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone calls from patients and staff; forward triage as needed.
• Perform receptionist duties with accuracy and professionalism.
• Verify health insurance information and educate patients on applicable regulations; collect payments.
• Data entry of service charges and diagnostic codes for physician and clinic-related charges.
• Coordinate information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured and collected.
