Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Sunset Hills is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to greet patients, check in/out, schedule appointments, and manage front-office tasks in the OBGYN clinic. The role is 40 hours per week, day shift, with no weekends or holidays.

You will verify insurance, collect payments, enter charges, and coordinate with the Central Billing Office to ensure accurate billing. A High School Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of experience are preferred; benefit-eligible with

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, including diagnostic codes and charges for physicians and clinics.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured and collected.
