Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related customer facing experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Call center, patient scheduling and/or physician front-office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients during registration to create a welcoming experience.
• Obtains and enters required information for registration into the EHR.
• Reviews demographics and insurance information and corrects deficiencies.
• Obtains necessary signatures and completes forms (Medicare etc.).
• Provides information on patient rights, HIPAA, and financial assistance documentation.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls, direct callers, and manage appointment scheduling and reminders.
