Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to welcome patients, register them, and ensure a positive experience at our San Antonio clinics. The CSR handles patient intake for health care, social services, and counseling, coordinating encounter data entry to meet deadlines and supporting billing and financial reviews.

We value individuals with strong clerical skills, familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare/CHIP processes, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities (preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including keyboarding and basic math.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the system and register them.
• Process health care, social services, and counseling requests.
• Coordinate encounter data entry to meet program deadlines.
• Conduct and record patient financial reviews, billing, and collections.
• Support the annual UDS report and Compliance & Quality Improvement activities.
• Assist with outreach activities as assigned.
