Responsibilities include eligibility checks for programs, scheduling, billing assistance, and maintaining patient records with attention to detail. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to serve a diverse patient base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General experience in health care settings preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong clerical skills with good math and keyboarding.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and update accounts in the system with accurate data.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs; reconcile daily.
• Verify patient eligibility for programs and assist with scheduling.
• Answer phones and assist patients and visitors; maintain logs and reports.
• Understand Medicaid/Medicare/CHIP programs and verify insurance status.
• Maintain professional appearance and attendance; support a positive clinic environment.
• Assist with outreach activities and collaborate with clinical teams.
