Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary contact for patients at CentroMed clinics and ensure they have a positive experience from check-in through checkout.

The CSR will handle patient registration, health coverage verification, and billing-related communications while maintaining accurate records and supporting the agency’s quality improvement efforts. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with healthcare data entry experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: General experience working in a health care setting; and experience with medical data entry preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Register and welcome patients into the system and ensure a positive experience.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs and reconcile daily balances.
• Determine patient eligibility for participation in special programs and assist patients and visitors in person or by phone.
• Schedule patient appointments per established protocols and maintain accurate encounter records.
• Support outreach and data summaries for compliance and quality improvement activities.
