Job summary

CentroMed in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to welcome patients and register data accurately in the system. You will handle billing, eligibility checks, and scheduling while delivering compassionate service in a diverse community.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has a High School Diploma, and is experienced in healthcare data entry and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General experience in a health care setting; data entry preferred.
• Strong clerical skills including accurate keyboarding and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Establish and update client accounts in the system using name, alias, family, SSN, and account numbers.
• Enter charges for self-pay, insurance, and eligibility programs; reconcile daily charges and balance sheets.
• Assess patient eligibility for programs and assist patients and visitors entering the clinic.
• Schedule patient appointments per established protocols.
• Maintain productivity with encounter entries, logs, referrals, and outreach paperwork.
• Assist with outreach activities and comply with agency policies and procedures.
