Job summary

Patient First is seeking a customer-focused front desk associate to assist patients at the kiosk and guide them through pre-registration and billing processes. You will coordinate with clinicians to ensure timely patient processing and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, empathy, and accuracy, with responsibilities covering cash handling, charting, and traffic within the center. Training on the EMR system will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients needing emergency help to treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Handle requests from physicians and nurses promptly and professionally.
• Explain billing policies to patients as needed.
• Register patients accurately and provide compassionate service.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements.
