Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, register them, verify insurance, collect payments, and support front-office operations in a fast-paced breast health care setting.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, basic cash handling knowledge, and familiarity with RIS software. Join a compassionate team delivering exceptional patient care across our centers.

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: knowledge of RIS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Register patients with demographic and insurance information in RIS and verify accuracy.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion.
• Process paperwork by scanning documents and maintaining confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits when necessary.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.
• Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
