Job summary

Solis Mammography in Cypress, TX is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, register them, and handle payments with care. You will input demographic and insurance data into our RIS, explain forms, and support scheduling while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The role emphasizes compassionate, high-touch care within a leading breast health provider. The position is full-time, with standard hours, and requires basic healthcare knowledge, strong communication, and accuracy

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to follow complex written or oral instructions.
• Able to perform basic math and stand for long periods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; RIS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and warmly.
• Register patients including demographic and insurance input into RIS.
• Explain forms and assist with completion, paper or tablet.
• Collect patient payments and verify insurance when needed.
• Prepare paperwork for future appointments and follow up on needed requests.
• Schedule and reschedule patients as required.
• Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
• Participate in front office training and policy updates.
