Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Lansdale, PA to greet patients, register demographics and insurance data, and post payments. The role supports smooth center flow and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and 2 years of healthcare registration or customer service, with basic cash-handling skills and familiarity with RIS software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations; ability to sit/stand for long periods.
• Experience using Microsoft Office; RIS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Register patients with demographic and insurance information into the RIS (Radiology Information System) and verify accuracy of information.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion, via paper or tablet.
• Process necessary paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits when necessary.
• Prepare paperwork for future appointments and necessary payor/documents.
• Schedule and reschedule patients as needed.
• Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
