Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at our East Norriton center. The role involves greeting patients, registering them with accurate insurance and demographic information, posting payments, answering questions, and supporting daily front-office operations.

Hours are full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a schedule including weekdays and every third Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them, including inputting demographic and insurance information into the RIS system.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits to patients.
• Explain forms and assist with completion, via paper or tablet.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize documents for patient records.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; assist with future exams and payors as needed.
• Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
