Advocate Health Care is seeking a Part-time Revenue Cycle Associate to support registration, insurance verification, and patient financial interactions at our Summit WI location. You will create the initial electronic health record and ensure data accuracy, while handling payments and coordinating with Financial Advocates.

The role requires high school graduation, strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Creates the initial electronic health record foundation for the patient medical record.
• Prevents creation of duplicate medical records to avoid billing problems.
• Ensures patient identification to support safety and accuracy of care.
• Checks in and registers patients, verifies demographic and insurance information, collects co-pays.
• Obtains patient or guarantor signatures as required.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Interacts with patients to educate on insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
• References HIPAA and related regulations to ensure compliance.
