Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative to join the 10466 Enterprise Revenue Cycle team. This 22-hour weekly shift includes a rotating schedule with weekends and holidays.

The PSR will collect patient demographics, insurance information, and financial responsibility while delivering high-quality service. The role emphasizes accurate data capture, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with care teams to support timely billing and patient satisfaction.

Responsabilités

• Create the initial electronic health record foundational to the patient medical record.
• Check in and register patients; verify demographics, guarantor, and insurance info; collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance basics and advise on financial responsibility; refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality in all interactions.
• Assist with patient scheduling, inquiries, and transportation needs; provide directions and support.
• Greet patients, answer calls, screen messages, and assist visitors to create a welcoming environment.
• Monitor and process electronic health record queues per department processes.
