Northwestern Medicine in McHenry is hiring a Patient Services Representative for a multispecialty clinic. The position operates Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekends, in the McHenry Medical Office Building.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in a customer service position.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, collect required information and complete patient registration, verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances.
• Update patient demographic information and company information in the system.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments; direct and document patient calls.
• Coordinate scheduling of outside testing and serve as liaison between patient and practice.
• Provide daily reconciliation to ensure charges are entered correctly; back-up for scheduling.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in all daily activities.
