Mercy Clinic Urology at Southfork is seeking a Patient Service Representative to ensure smooth clinic operations, assist with patient registrations, scheduling, and front-desk tasks. You will greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and support staff with Epic charting and billing processes.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A Monday–Friday schedule with full-time hours is provided, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and billing processes.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including accurate data entry.
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; verify identity and manage check-in/check-out.
• Answer phones and perform clerical tasks including Epic charting, scanning, faxing, and document handling.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and testing; provide timely estimates and Good Faith Estimates.
• Monitor provider schedules, communicate delays, and coordinate with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow.
• Maintain accurate registration, EHRs, and assigned work queues.
• Handle patient concerns professionally and elevate as needed.
• Manage daily cash drawer, accounts receivable tasks, and payment plans.
• Support EPIC updates, departmental initiatives, and clinic communications.
• Maintain a safe, clean reception area and adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control policies.
