Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative to provide a friendly, efficient front-office experience. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant cert a plus
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail and multitasking in busy environments
• Proficiency with computers and EMR software; EPIC preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, some weekends and holidays
• Team player with proactive, friendly, patient-focused approach to service

Aufgaben

• Warm Welcome: greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude
• Patient and Business Documentation: maintain confidentiality and organize documents
• Insurance Verification: verify eligibility and explain payment policies
• Financial Responsibility: collect patient payments and communicate costs
• Collaborative Support: assist practice manager, providers and staff
• Compliance: follow HIPAA and OSHA requirements and ensure proper documentation
• Administrative Duties: perform office procedures and operate medical equipment
• Travel Requirement: support staffing at other Corewell Health Urgent Care locations as needed
