Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the friendly first point of contact, handling front-desk duties and patient check-in. You will coordinate scheduling, documentation, and insurance verification to support efficient care delivery.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting. On-site, full-time shifts with day and evening hours ensure reliable coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical admin cert a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced front-desk role

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, positive attitude.
• Manage front-office operations and document handling while maintaining confidentiality.
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate payment policies to patients.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Support the practice manager, providers and staff for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Perform general administrative duties and operate medical office equipment.
• Travel to other Corewell Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
