Qualifications

• Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience; 1+ year preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients and supports them during health visits.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains a trustworthy, safe, and accurate atmosphere.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors with focus on process excellence and confidentiality of information.
• Under supervisor direction, performs daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties per established practices.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and a positive image to patients and staff.
