Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) in Fort Myers, FL to draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing while explaining procedures to patients in a safe, accurate manner.

The role emphasizes patient-facing communication, recordkeeping, and maintaining a professional environment under supervision to support timely, precise operations for life-defining health decisions.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Represent the face of Synectics to patients and promote a positive image.
