Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative I to greet patients, collect blood samples, and prepare specimens for lab testing with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. The role requires solid phlebotomy skills and superb customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Under supervision, you will handle daily tasks, maintain a safe and professional environment, and contribute to positive patient experiences while supporting laboratory workflows and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (California, Nevada, Washington listed as required).
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One or more years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients who come in.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures safe, accurate collection.
• Performs duties with confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
