Synectics Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative II to collect blood samples, prepare specimens, and interact with patients with professionalism and care. You will explain procedures, verify demographics, and maintain accurate documentation across multiple settings including clinics and client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood in a safe, accurate manner.
• Verify patient demographics and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a safe, professional environment and confidentiality.
