Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the PSC and in-office testing. Under area supervisor, you will perform daily patient service activities, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, and data entry with accuracy and professionalism.

You will interact with clients, patients, and PathGroup staff, follow established procedures, maintain records, and ensure specimens are transported safely.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and maintains courteous service.
• Ensures specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explains venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly.
• Labels, preserves, and processes specimens per protocol.
• Completes requisitions and enters data into PathConnect or equivalent systems.
• Maintains daily records and assists with monthly statistics.
• Adheres to safety, PPE, and hygiene procedures.
