Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in the PSC or as an in-office PST, handling venipuncture, specimen collection, and processing with accuracy and professionalism.

You will greet customers, collect specimens, document in PathConnect, ensure proper labeling and transport, maintain records, and support a courteous, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (may be required based on state and laboratory guidelines).
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred; required in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately.
• Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process calmly to patients.
