Job summary

PathGroup in Kentucky seeks a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in PSC or in-office PST, handling forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing under supervision.

The role requires accurate data entry, proper labeling, PPE usage, and strong customer service to patients and clients. High school diploma required; phlebotomist certification preferred; 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred (may be required by state guidelines).
• Phlebotomist Certification is preferred (Required in Louisiana).

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and treats them with courtesy.
• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes clearly and calmly.
• Maintain records and complete PSC/IOPST logs.
• Perform electronic data entry and accurate requisition matching.
