Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Patient Access/Registration professional to be the front-line contact for all incoming patients. You will greet, register, schedule appointments and collect copays, using AIDET to communicate clearly with patients and families.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, organizational skills and teamwork to support Cooper's mission. Training and a patient-centered work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals preferred.
• Epic Experience Preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer service oriented attitude and excellent phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register and schedule patients; collect point-of-service copays and provide general information.
• Serve as the front-line contact for all incoming patients.
• Assist with discharge coordination as a non-clinical navigator.
• Support accurate registration and scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow.
