Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a customer service–oriented Registration Associate to ensure smooth patient intake and support during discharge. You will greet and register patients, schedule appointments, collect copays, and provide information to patients and families using AIDET principles.

The role emphasizes accurate registration, scheduling, insurance pre-certifications, and referrals, with opportunities to utilize Epic and collaborate with care teams to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front line contact for all incoming patients; greet, register, schedule and collect point of service copays.
• Provide general information to patients and families using AIDET principles.
• Act as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
