Mass General Brigham's Nantucket Cottage Hospital seeks a Patient Services Coordinator to manage front-desk activities, schedule appointments and coordinate referrals in a high-volume ambulatory setting.

You will interact with diverse patients, navigate Epic and MS Office, and ensure accurate insurance verification and authorizations while delivering excellent service throughout the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume scheduling with accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of managed care, insurance basics, and referrals.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsabilités

• Schedule and reschedule ambulatory patient appointments per guidelines.
• Answer and triage phone calls; assist patients and families.
• Confirm appointments and prepare pre-visit documentation.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verification.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and support care teams.
